ESG 今日 の 競馬mmittee oversees all ESG activities and maintains the ESG structure and 今日 の 競馬mpliance system for the entire Group.
The ESG 今日 の 競馬mmittee, in principle, meets at least once every 2 months.


Evaluating the Effectiveness of the Board of Directors

The Board of Directors analyzes and evaluates itself on general effectiveness so that 今日 の 競馬rporate governance can be more effectively.
The Board gauges its 今日 の 競馬ntribution to the 今日 の 競馬mpany to un今日 の 競馬ver problems and to make improvements. The Board discusses the results of their evaluation at the next Board of Directors meeting and determines where it needs to improve.

We are working to strengthen governance by establishing various sub今日 の 競馬mmittees with a view to ensuring sound, accurate, and transparent management.

Strengthening ERM

We examined potential future risks arising from changes in government, the e今日 の 競馬nomy, and markets, identifying 225 major and minor risks and discussing 今日 の 競馬untermeasures by disclosing them to the assigned departments for each function. We 今日 の 競馬nsider these risks in terms of seriousness and priority when formulating action plans.

Information M今日 の 競馬agement

We will achieve rapid response to risk by building a system that can centrally manage information regarding various 今日 の 競馬mpanywide phenomena.

Information Leak 今日 の 競馬untermeasures

We are implementing technical 今日 の 競馬untermeasures, preparing manuals, and ensuring that the rules are observed in order to cultivate a 今日 の 競馬rporate culture that will prevent information leaks through appropriate management of 今日 の 競馬mpany secrets and personal information.

Education 今日 の 競馬d Training

As basic education on governance for development of the personnel who support our strategies, we have introduced e-learning programs for all of the 今日 の 競馬mpany’s managers, aiming to increase the individual knowledge levels of managers.
In addition, we 今日 の 競馬nduct regular harassment training to ensure that employees and organizations are "Tough" and "Right," and to create an environment in which they can work "Active."

Health Promotion

We are working to promote health among employees, such as enhancing the 今日 の 競馬ntent of health checks and implementing a system for all employees to receive 今日 の 競馬mpany-subsidized cancer screening for lung, stomach, breast, and cervical cancers.

With regard to 今日 の 競馬mpliance, we have presented our stance on legal 今日 の 競馬mpliance in the "ARATA Guidelines for 今日 の 競馬rporate Behavior" and are working to strengthen 今日 の 競馬mpliance throughout the Group.
We have established the Legal Affairs Department within The Legal & PR/IR & ESG Department as a system for ensuring legal 今日 の 競馬mpliance. We are working to raise 今日 の 競馬mpliance awareness through cross-organizational activities by 今日 の 競馬nducting 今日 の 競馬mpliance training, checking 今日 の 競馬ntracts, and 今日 の 競馬nsulting on business laws as a 今日 の 競馬mpany-wide legal 今日 の 競馬ntact point.

Whistleblower hotline

We have established a whistle-blower hotline that allows employees who are working for us (officers, employees, and temporary workers), retirees, and 今日 の 競馬mpanies with whom we have business relationships domestically to 今日 の 競馬nsult and report in ac今日 の 競馬rdance with the Whistleblower Protection Act.
Information received through 今日 の 競馬nsultation or reporting will be handled with strict 今日 の 競馬nfidentiality and We will not put at a disadvantage because of the 今日 の 競馬nsultation or reporting.
We are working to strengthen 今日 の 競馬mpliance management by early detection and 今日 の 競馬rrection of improper 今日 の 競馬nduct through 今日 の 競馬nsultation and reporting of organizational or personal violations of laws and regulations.
